| In order to *help* us, our valuable & much needed belongings - tons of it brand new - are taken by the Women Helping Battered Women 's "SafeHome" Advocate to their Shelter's garage for safe keeping. Of course, we trusted them implicitly! Three whole wks later, she lies & tricks me into signing it all away if it was not removed by a set date that she determined (after the paper was actually signed)... Then, unprofessionally & unbelievably, they refuse to contact us so that we could get it all back! Her Supervisor, Kim Thevenet the WHBW "Housing & Shelter" Coordinator, did this maliciously because I had made valid complaints...(in July 2015, after I finally email the Director, we are then denied all *services* from this Domestic Abuse Agency) |

The Basic True Story: On order to HELP us, on Jan 23rd to Jan 28th - three car loads - the so-called advocate, Megan Foster of the reputable agency WHBW, took all of our worldly possessions to store in their shelter/house garage. We are poor and could not rent a storage at that time...(nor could we ever afford more emotional harm & pain) we had every basic stylish & pricey item we needed for our lives in those bags :( Approx 3wks later Megan gave me a form to sign releasing the agency of damage etc (this made sense to me)...what did not make sense was the idea ( and the date she put on there) to actually give the stuff away TO DONATION if I did not remove it!... She wrote down 6wks and TOLD ME SHE WOULD "CHANGE THE DATE" ACCORDINGLY TO STRETCH OUT HE TIME AS WE NEEDED. It went WITHOUT saying that she would inform me of any issues and as the time neared to change the date and resign it OR get rid of the stuff! In April, this reputable agency helped us bustrip it to Boston...I explicitly told this supervisor Kim T. that I would pay for our trip back as soon as I got my money...

EVEN IF WE DID SUDDENLY MOVE AWAY - a mere 4 hrs away - clearly out of proper business practice and respect for a mother & child, they would contact me AND further accommodate our precious, nonreplacable things sitting in their garage causing no harm - and WORK WITH ME on a date of removal a storage unit only $90. But unbelievably &horrifically, Megan & Kim unprofessionally and maliciously discard our things!! They never contact me again via email, as they always did, or by phone (I was in fact reachable). They then began AVOIDING my calls & emails as if I never existed! I am absolutely devastated & cannot fathom this act of cruelty - these two women will be held accountable. WHBW must make proper restitution for what will never go away in our hearts & minds...all my beautiful things truly gone.
